Do you work in IT within the Travel Industry?? Or have you previous experience in this sector? My client would also look at a candidate that has worked within the travel industry though are keen on getting into an IT / Helpdesk role. My client is a Worldwide and Business Travel Specialist based in Birmingham, they are looking for someone to come into their office and join there busy team on the IT department.

As Travel Application Support Executive you are responsible for the operational relationship with clients providing systems support for applications.
Your clients are Travel Management Companies and Travel Managers UK corporations.
To succeed in this role you should be energetic, motivated, and result-oriented. You are disciplined with an astute business sense with a strong orientation towards customer satisfaction. You must also have an analytical approach to problem solving and enjoy investigating technical issues.
You work closely with the Account Management team to deliver the right level of service to our clients.
Your core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
*Building and maintaining excellent client relationships on an operational level
*Maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction
*Ensure follow-up on technical/operational outstanding issues
*Ensure regular reviews to ensure the good usage of our solution
*Manage clients requirements for enhancements and service requests
*Provide trainings to use and configure our solution.
*Pilot enhancement projects
Required Skills:

This experience should include some or all of the following:
*Experience in Customer support /and or a helpdesk environment
*Consulting experience gained within either a Travel industry
*Experience in preparing and delivering high quality presentations to clients
*Experience of progress monitoring and reporting
*Hands-on delivery in setting up customer systems (configuration only, no development)
*A good expertise of the business travel industry
Knowing a GDS Sabre or Amadeus; Galileo is a plus.

Salary - £20,000 plus depending on experience. plus company benefits.
