Travel Tours Sales Representative (Japanese AND/OR English Speaker)
Our client is a successful, dynamic and award winning travel company that offer various travel services across the globe. Due to remarkable growth, we are now seeking an experienced Travel Tours Sales Representative to join our clients busy and friendly team.
The role of the Travel Sales Representative is to sell Japan and European tours to UK and European market.
This role is ideal for a travel professional with travel experience, seeking something a little different in which there is career progression and generous benefits on offer.
Your career begins here, duties entail:
- Manage a group of UK and European agents to maximise revenue and profit through the sale of tours.
- Visit agents to develop business opportunities in order to achieve yearly sales targets
- Provide suitable tours (to include hotel bookings, tour guides, coach and meals) in response to travel agent requests which will then be processed and confirmed
- Produce accurate documents and reports
- Experience within a tour operator or travel agent.
- Ability to identify key customer needs
- Ability to analyse sales figures
- Structured and analytical decision making
- Solid networking and relationship building skills
- Ability to develop and maintain trust with clients
- Fluent English speaker
- Understanding of the B2B travel industry
- Ability to speak Japanese is ideal but not essential
