Senior Account Development Manager (German Speaking) – Up to £38k plus bonus & benefits – NW London

Senior Account Development Manager (German speaking) is required by a leading travel company to develop its client base in german speaking travel markets. As a Senior Account Development Manager (German speaking) you will be working with an award winning travel team and a premier travel product, where you will be the first point of contact for existing high value accounts. As Senior Account Development Manager (German speaking) you will build strong personal relationships, with regular face to face contact, with the aim of achieving high brand loyalty by epitomising the brand values of Inspiration, Passion, Partnership and Respect

As Senior Account Development Manager (German speaking) you will:

  • Develop strong commercial relationships at all levels, being able to hold high level and daily relationships within the client organisation so that you become the trusted ‘go to supplier’
  • Understand the travel market, competitive landscape and pressures, working with the client to grow their business and our business with them
  • Understand the clients’ sales cycle to ensure business at the right time in order to maximise travel market share
  • Meeting clients’ travel requirements; matching this information with travel product to ensure that the best possible itinerary is planned and that opportunities for increasing sales revenue are maximised, leading to repeats sales as the preferred supplier
  • Create touring itineraries in order to gain sales and a competitive advantage in the travel market
  • Ensuring price and margin of our offer is competitive and profitable
  • Taking leading responsibility in the department and deputising for the line manager as appropriate, in preparation for your own promotion to the next level and to meet business needs

The Senior Account Development Manager (German speaking) will be:

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Two years experience in a similar role for leading travel companies
  • Commercially aware, able/willing to sustain commercial professional relationships
  • Achievement focussed, and/or sales driven
  • Client focused, friendly and diplomatic,
  • Creative: being able to develop new ideas, work with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver on ideas
