We have a brand new opportunity to join a fast growing, global leisure travel organisation based in London as a Travel Application Support Executive. The role focuses on troubleshooting user problems and bugs on our client's travel systems and the successful candidate will be responsible for flagging and monitoring such bugs, in addition to ensuring the systems are being used correctly by all areas of the business. Previous experience of using a GDS is essential for the role and exposure to Travel Box, Travel Link, Open Destinations or Dolphin would be advantageous. In return, our client can offer a Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm working week and a competitive salary of up to £32,000 plus excellent benefits. Role of Travel Application Support Executive:

  • Responsible for ensuring that the travel systems which support the company’s travel business are operating effectively, correct set-ups are maintained, and issues and bugs are flagged and monitored.
  • Support the Travel Business Systems Manager and the operational team in their use of their front and back office travel system ensuring that the system is being used correctly and any miss use is identified and communicated to line management.
  • Participate and in some cases lead, initiatives to improve the system performance and usage across all divisions.

Skills required for the role:

  • Experience in managing and documenting processes.
  • Ability to liaise with a range of internal stakeholders to fully understand and support business need.
  • Proven experience in being adaptable to work requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and prioritise appropriately
  • Quantitative and qualitative research and analysis skills
  • Experience of the travel industry, specifically GDS systems
  • Experience of travel back office systems and processes (highly desirable)
  • Great attention to detail.
