Job Description:

My client a leading company within the travel industry are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for managing a small team of Business Development Executives to ensure they achieve their sales targets (with mentoring and training when required). Whilst also meeting your own targets and onboarding new business opportunities. You will be working across the successful companies 3 sub brands.

Key Responsibilities:
*Proven sales and key account management experience, ideally with a travel sector background.
*Be able to generate your own pipeline of leads.
*Team player and can demonstrate a coaching style to support more junior colleagues.
*Identify business prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
*Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions and closing the deal.
*Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
*Managing the sales team will involve providing training, development and coaching support, identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes to address these,
*Be the voice of the sales team within the business and ultimately progressing onto the management team on successfully completing the probation period.
*Regular reporting to the Commercial Director.

Experience Required:
*Demonstrating a commitment to our values and contribute positively to the company culture.
*Exceeding personal and company sales revenue targets.
*Building a motivated and high performing team.
*Develop a sales funnel that demonstrates controlled scalability from lead generation to transactions.
*Graduate level education
*Demonstrable record of success in sales.
*Good organisational skills & Great attention to detail
*Comfortable with technology such as CRM systems and MS Office suite.
*Travel industry experience would be advantageous but not essential.


Package:
*Employee share scheme where you can become a part owner of the business and share in its success.
*Full time role
*30 days holiday a year (including bank holidays)
*A starting annual salary in the region of £35,000 depending on experience.
*A bonus based on achieving your sales profit/revenue target, with uncapped commission-earning potential. OTE will only be limited by your ambition and determination to succeed.
