A key role within the Leadership team for a specialist highly regarded Tour Operator, to create and execute the sales and distribution strategy within the UK and grow the brands presence and distribution within key International markets. Responsible for all levels of the sales operation, leading the sales and customer service teams, plus managing the GSA relationships globally, you will need established Trade relationships, sound commercial skills and a strategic outlook. Ensuring the Trade distribution maximises key partnerships, building solid commercial agreements and commissions for each market. Reporting directly into the MD who has a strong vision for growth, you will need to be able to work at pace, drive through new strategies and initiatives and lead a team to deliver outstanding sales and customer service to both trade and direct consumers.
This is a senior position requiring a dynamic and forward thinking, commercially focused leader, who has a solid background in improving the sales process, delivering revenue to target, strong negotiation skills and established trade relationships. Used to managing a large team, the role requires experience in directly managing a Contact Centre or Sales Support team in addition to leading the Sales Trade function.
This role requires at least 5 years in a senior managerial sales role within Travel, excellent knowledge of the Travel Agent landscape and a proven track record of leading high performing teams and delivering results. Strong decision making skills, analytical and highly creative with a collaborative leadership style, this is a great role with an exciting brand.
