TRAVEL CENTRE - RESERVATIONS EXECUTIVE

We are a luxury touring train, departing from over 50 stations throughout the UK.
Combining fine dining and visits to Great British destinations / special events, we want to whisk our guests away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and give them a day to remember.
We operate around 100 events/journeys per year (20,000 passengers) which are sold direct to the public for leisure or for private hire by hospitality agents, charities and other organisations.
Clients expect professional customer service and support at all stages of communication with the company, from enquiry stage, booking, payments, special requests and ticketing.
Using our bespoke reservations system we interact with clients via telephone, email, post and live chat. You will be based at our Nantwich office within a small team environment. You will report directly to the Sales Director and General Manager.

They must be hard working, a team player and the ability to get things done efficiently and effectively.
This position involves a demanding workload to ensure the smooth operation of the travel centre and ticketing deadlines.
The ability to think on your feet, speak politely, show empathy and understanding to clients, whilst acting professionally and with confidence is essential.
A highly organised individual with customer service and travel industry experience would be preferred as exacting high standards are required.
Applicants must have excellent communication and written skills.
An interest in travel and Great British sightseeing destinations would be helpful.
Understanding of Microsoft Office software.
Office hours are 09:30 am to 5:30 pm .
The role requires working between 1 and 2 Saturdays a month, in lieu of a week day.
- Making calls - inbound and outbound to clients
- Reservations and bookings.
- Client live chat & e-mails.
- Payments and financial reconciliations.
