An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a well-established and expanding tour operator who is looking for someone passionate about travel, sport and looking to establish a career in account management within the travel sector.

Within this role you will provide support to the product managers within the company's sports tour product portfolio, focusing on Spain and Portugal, with the aim to grow and maintain financial returns, market position and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

*Support the product managers on all sports venues within the European portfolio of accounts
*Manage special offer content on e-mail newsletters and website by co-ordinating offers on internal system on a daily basis, and managing the exposure on e-mail and website on a weekly basis
*Collaborate with the pricing team to review all rates and promotions are loaded correctly, as well as eliminating quote errors and being pro-active in solving rate problems
*Be responsive to calls, internal messages and e-mails from sales team in providing them with assistance
*Maintain remote relationships with resorts, hotels and sports venues where applicable
*Assist in loading pricing and inventory during peak contracting seasons
*Understand competitor analysis and produce weekly reports for product managers
*Manage any seasonal changes to pricing on the company website
*Write copy for new product contracted by the product managers
*Effectively work with and co-ordinate with the pricing and marketing teams to achieve launch deadlines

Essential Requirements:

*An interest in travel and sport, ideally golf
*Must have good attention to detail
*Previous experience working in a travel product/marketing assistant role would be an advantage however not essential
*An understanding of account management and client relationship management
*Excellent administration and numeracy skills
*An enthusiastic and positive team player
