Business travel fares specialist

Business travel Fares specialist Required for this expanding travel company, They are looking for an experience Fares specialist, Air product specialist or ticketing agent from a business travel background. They are looking for the successful candidate to be based from home and will pay between £27,000 to £30,000 + benefits

Business travel fares specialist duties
-First line support for fares enquiries from clients, enquiries such as dealing with client errors, GDS questions, questions on what fares to us
-Day-to-day liaison with external fare loading resource
-Manage upkeep of fare distribution channels
-Content management of fares related newsletters and guides
-Maintenance and updating of fares related material on the companies Extranet
-Admin support for event management
-Co-ordination of marketing activities (internal/external)
-Manage internal invoicing to suppliers for events and marketing activities

Business travel fares specialist skills required
-Highly organised and efficient individual with a keen eye for detail
- Good knowledge of fare construction, calculations, access and distribution on a major GDS as well as fare redistribution programmes and solutions
-Experience of working through a ticket-based helpdesk
-Experience of presenting in a virtual environment
-Ability to work within a team but as a remote worker
-An excellent communicator who knows how to motivate and get the very best out of people, make complex look simple - in either face-to-face or virtual environment, and articulate key messages to a diverse audience
-Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel)
