Job Details

Senior Product Support Specialist required for a successful travel company who specialise in travel system technology. Are you currently working in travel and have good working GDS and travel system knowledge and looking for something a little different? Or do you come from a technology background and have worked in a support role but are now wanting to take your career to the next level? JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client is built on automation, systems which are mainly developed by their own software development company. This role will be critical to the effectiveness of both the internal and customer facing software, it will require a good understanding of flight sales, and of travel reservations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business for someone who is prepared to throw themselves into the role and wants to see their career grow.
Travel Systems Support Coordinator duties:
- Gather understanding of key business needs, especially where they relate to change or transformation.
- Champion usability and drive business efficiencies within set products and projects.
- Create functional specifications for new systems and processes.
- Implementing, testing and deploying solutions to projects and business problems.
- Supporting transition and help to establish change.
- Explaining technical jargon to non-technical teams.
- Create and deliver training sessions for new staff, and new enhancements/process changes within specified projects.
- Take the lead on business change go to market plans.
- Create technical documentation in liaison with development teams.
- Provide support and be recognised as a subject matter expert on specified products and projects.
- Assist in day to day usability of these products and projects.
- Be a recognised subject matter expert on specified products and projects.
- Involvement in multiple projects at any one time.
- Work closely with management on scope and plans for new projects/processes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will be committed, enthusiastic and a supportive team member , knowledge of product support, preferably within a software or travel company.,.

PACKAGE:
Working Monday - Friday 09.00 - 5.30 , you will be rewarded with competitive basic salary which will be dependent on experience , along with company bonus and benefits package.
