With a global customer base and offices near Gatwick Airport, Alternative Airlines is an on-line travel agency (OTA) which offers a wider choice of flights for its customers. By working with more airlines worldwide, including smaller regional airlines and low-cost carriers, we offer a greater choice of flight options at lower prices. We specialise in flight-only sales and offer over 600 airlines on our easy-to-use site.
Due to sustained growth, we are now expanding our team and looking for a brilliant Customer Service Agent to join our Customer Service team.
Essential Skills:
- Confident telephone manner
- Strong writing skills
- Amadeus GDS and/or travel agency experience preferable but not essential
- Be able to multitask at a fast pace whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Passion for customer service and helping our customers to book their flights and respond to their enquiries
- Highly organised, proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
The Role:
- Answering calls, emails and live chat for customer queries regarding their booking
- Responding to customers feedback on key review websites
- Building flight itineraries for our clients
- Processing refunds, cancellations and reissues
- Issuing flight tickets made via www.alternativeairlines.com
- Dealing with schedule changes
- Working hard to ensure high level of customer satisfaction to retain customers
- Opportunity to work alongside our marketing team to identify customer trends
