Summary of role:
Your key objectives will be to assist clients in arranging all aspects of their dream weddings in our destinations, demonstrate the best product knowledge in the industry, build relationships and deliver exceptional service to your portfolio clients.

Job Description

•             Handling a portfolio of weddings and providing full assistance to clients in the run up to their wedding in a personal and professional manner

•             Deliver an exceptional level of service to our wedding couples by phone, email and in person

•             Become an ambassador of the company, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills, building rapport with all clients

•             Drive exceptional customer service and up sell extra services to enhance their wedding day

•             Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all aspects of marrying in our destinations including documentation, seasonality, types of venues, logistics and expert advice

•             Take responsibility for the clients' complete satisfaction with Ionian Weddings, going the extra mile to ensure their expectations are exceeded

•             Liaise with our suppliers in the Mediterranean to ensure client requirements are met and sales are closed quickly and efficiently

•             Invoicing clients & suppliers

•             A passion for weddings and travel is essential, along with outgoing personality, good telephone skills, computer literacy and previous experience

Required skills and experience

•             Essential: a minimum of 3 years in the weddings or travel industry and passion for weddings

•             Essential: exceptional and proven customer service and organisational skills

•             Essential: positive “can-do” attitude

•             Good knowledge of our destinations

•             Strong attention to detail

•             MS office proficient and IT savvy

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•             Resourceful and practical; can think on your feet and solve problems quickly and effectively

•             Ability to set and work to deadlines

•             Multi-tasking skills and able to work under pressure

•             Numerate, able to prepare client invoices and receipts

•             Ability to deal with clients and agents face to face
