BUSINESS TRAVEL CONSULTANT - Scotland Homeworking

Business travel consultant required!! - Large expanding Business Travel company is recruiting for an experienced Business Travel Consultant in Scotland or the borders , who is looking for a new opportunity to expand their skills and work for a company who are growing in size and branching to more areas of the UK. An exciting time to join such a company and an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door at the right time to grow with the business as it's expanding further in to homeworking!
Business travel consultants required: - They will look at travel industry professionals from a Business Travel, corporate Travel or Tailormade Travel Consultant background working on a major GDS - either Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre. Working Monday to Friday with the occassional sat morning and depending on experience the salary is up to £21,000 Base + benefits and average bonus of £4k on top!

Business travel consultant duties
-Booking worldwide business travel for a range of clients including flights, hotels, car hire and rail
-Providing the clients with different travel options and prices, making sure the journey is the best possible negotiated price for the client
-Making amendments to bookings
-Building a relationship with your client and account manage their requirements and expectations

Business travel consultant skills required
- Excellent fares knowledge and experience of booking multi-sector flight itineraries as well as accommodation and car-hire
- GDS experience is a must! either Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre
- High level of customer service, alongside the ability to multitask, prioritise and organise well
