Travelzoo is seeking a full-time Assistant Producer (Hotel) to be based in our London or Manchester office. This person will be responsible for providing support to the Production team by sourcing the best hotel deals. For this position, you should have great time-management skills, exceptional attention to detail, a passion for travel and hotels, and enjoy working in a team.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Source, research and develop outstanding hotel deals
  • Communicate effectively across all parts of the business, including Publishers, Sales Managers and Photo Editors
  • Use commercial acumen and understanding of e-commerce to maximise campaign results and ensure optimum consumer engagement
  • Assist in the management of client campaigns, analysing campaign performance, providing campaign reports and negotiating offers
  • Adopt a member-first mentality and use customer-engagement metrics to create outstanding content and digital campaigns
  • Work with Sales Managers to develop and foster client relationships
  • Manage new and existing client accounts
  • Liaise with colleagues from European and global production teams
  • Write content for our newsletter, website and blog

Candidate profile:

  • Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Well structured, detail-oriented working style
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Experience of working with CRM systems preferable
  • A genuine passion for the tourism industry and an interest in travel
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Product knowledge in the hotel sector preferred
  • Understanding of marketing principles
  • Global mindset
  • Strong commercial awareness
