Sleepeezee Ltd is one of the country’s leading bedding manufacturers, based in Rochester, Kent and currently employs over 300 people in various roles.

We are one of only two bed manufacturers that have been granted a Royal Warrant and we have recently announced growth plans which will see major investment in our products, plant and facilities. We are looking for the right candidate to join our sales team. 

Position                      Divisional Contracts Director

Hours                          37.5 hours per week

Salary Range             Circa £55K - £60K per annum plus package depending on the experience level of the successful applicant

Package includes company car & performance-related bonus

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will be working with the Contracts team to achieve agreed sales and profitability targets for a specific set of clients, in a manner in-keeping with the company’s strategic goals and competences, on a sustainable basis.

You will be working to develop and optimise business relationships with existing and new customers in all relevant contract market segments to ensure that the business maximises market opportunities, quantitatively and qualitatively, on an ongoing basis.

You will be the link between customers and the business. Therefore consistency, efficiency and excellent communications skills are essential for the role.

The role will require anticipation and understanding of the customers’ specific needs, offering solutions and subsequently providing accurate customer data needed for forecasting.

You will also be required to represent the company’s best interests at all times, e.g. in negotiating profitable contracts and winning the right business in the short-term, whilst still being mindful of medium to long term goals, which protect and enhance shareholder / stakeholder value.

Ideally, we are looking for an individual with the ability to create, develop, enhance and maintain organisational and personal credibility as well as the ability to build strong, lasting client relationships and earn the customers’ trust.

You must be a strategic thinker with proven experience of working in the commercial or contract sector

Competency in a modern foreign language would be desirable but not essential.
