A fantastic opportunity to work with UK’s most iconic hospitality professionals at some of the country’s most high-profile establishments.

Your main responsibility will be to manage the administration of the Scholarship competition programme, running from September to January, culminating in the final lunch and awards ceremony in February.

You will work alongside the Gold Service Scholarship Trustees to manage and assist with the organisation of events, including arranging venues, sourcing equipment, and preparing briefing schedules.

With your professional manner and excellent communication skills, you will confidently liaise with everyone from venues and speakers to PR companies and the media.

You will use your time management and organisational skills to regularly update the filing system, and keep on top of other administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, preparing guest lists, and sending out reminders.

You will be highly computer literate with competent knowledge of database systems and management of them, maintaining accurate and confidential records of scholars, competitors, judges, ambassadors, and sponsors, together with those invited to events.

You will also be responsible for managing the Gold Service Scholarship website through WordPress, carrying out regular updates and overseeing changes accordingly.

Your role will require maintaining relationships across the hospitality industry, liaising with competitors, judges, ambassadors, sponsors, and senior managers.

The role will largely involve home working but will also require attending meetings and events with some periods busier than others. Flexibility and willingness to work outside of regular hours essential.
