Ship Ahoy! Do you have proven expertise within Business Development or Agency Sales gained within the travel industry? Do you have an understanding of the UK cruising sector? This niche cruise company based in Kent need a new captain to top their sails and develop business across the South of England. This excellent opportunity will involve increasing brand and product awareness along with agent visits and training. *To understand the companies overall sales strategy, distribution plans, product and brand objectives with an understanding of the Cruise industry.
*Ability to review existing business and analyse new sales leads and develop new ones within the region.
*Managing existing key retail accounts and developing new clients, agreeing marketing campaigns and driving sales through account management.
*Product and sales training to the trade (one to one or classroom style)
*Attending client promotional events, exhibitions and in-store promotions
*Proven Sales Record and ability to communicate at all levels are essential
*Understanding of the Cruise Industry with proven business development and account management skills
*Ability to deliver training to retail agents
*Competitor analysis and drive sales through planning and following up sales campaigns
*Able to work from home and cover a large geographical area from East Anglia to Home Counties
*Use of own car with millage paid at set rate.
The successful candidate can expect an attractive salary plus a performance related bonus scheme.
