Our client is a leading online travel company specialising in worldwide accommodation
The client is currently recruiting a Head of Sales to join their established sales team. You will plan a Strategy and take leadership of your territory to Maximise profitability and potential. With Key account management of existing and acquisition of new strategic partners in territory and Lead and manage the sales team
As part of leadership team of Retail department, provide strategic input and support Head of Retail in achievement of departmental objectives
Head of Sales UK& Benelux Responsibilities:
"    Devise territory business plan in order to achieve sales, margin and profit targets, achieving a successful standalone P&L by territory as set out by Head of Retail
"    Ensure business plan for territory ties in with overall department objectives and the company's goals, visions & values
"    Undertake analysis and gain full understanding of the territory - the market, trading conditions, the current partners, the potential, the competition, in order to make informed choices, recommendations, and approaches
"    Manage, develop and maximise revenue and opportunities within territory, both through existing partners and new client acquisition
"    Work the territory and network in relevant trade circles to raise the profile of the company within the territory to become/maintain a well established and reputed brand
"    Strategic input to support the Head of Retail in determining yearly budgets and marketing plans for territory, and provide sales forecast of clients in territory throughout the year as required
"    Identify new strategic partners including lead generation, pitching to prospective partners, commercial negotiations, drawing up of agreements, and implementation
"    Quantify/qualify all new leads identified to determine annual potential and tie in with budget expectations
Head OF Sales UK & Benelux Skills & Experience
"    Language requirements depending on territory. Fluency in language is essential both in written and spoken business language.
"    Knowledge and comprehensive previous experience of working as a Territory Manager (or equivalent) within the travel industry including leading a team of Sales Managers/BDMs and/or Account Managers
"    Knowledge and experience of online travel/ecommerce
"    Knowledge and experience of trade sales
"    Experience and understanding of distribution to xml clients
"    Knowledge and experience of key account management
"    Local market knowledge and comprehensive experience of operating within assigned territory
"    Local market contacts within assigned territory
"    Available to travel at least 25% of time
"    Full driver's license with no points or convictions essential
