Sales and Marketing Director - A newly created position working for a specialist travel company near Chesterfield in the North of England, responsible for driving their online presence and sales with an emphasis on customer acquisition, eCommerce optimisation and improving the customer journey.
Sales and Marketing Director Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for a small team including one in marketing and the call centre staff. The company currently receives 30% of transactions through online channels with the call centre responsible for the remaining which you will be tasked with transforming/reversing. You will be responsible for re-designing the customer journey, driving customer acquisition, delivering new software solutions in to the business (such as a new CRM/reservation system) and contributing to the growth of the business at both a hands-on and strategic level.
Sales and Marketing Director Skills Required
- A progressive and deep understanding of the B2C digital environment
- Experience operating in an online travel company highly desirable but other similar B2C sectors such as online retailers are also of interest
- Must be dynamic, entrepreneurial with bags of energy and drive
- Experience of change management
- Track record of success in driving customer acquisition and commercial partnerships
- Ambitious and driven
Sales and Marketing Director Package
A competitive basic salary, depending on experience (to be discussed on application) plus bonus.
