Do you have experience in pricing and operations for group travel throughout the UK and Europe?

We are seeking an experience Group Operations Executive with a minimum of 1 years' experience from a UK Inbound Tour Operator or Wholesale company to deal with the pricing and operations of groups travelling to the UK and Europe. Fluency in English is essential for this position and Mandarin would also be advantageous.

The main aim of this role is to assist with group booking enquiries from the South East Asia sales office, putting together the quotations and reverting back to the South East Asia sales team within a timely manner. Once the sale has been made you will then be responsible for handling the operations of the booking, liaising with suppliers to confirm all elements of the booking.

This is a very challenging role, so the ability to work under pressure, working to a tight schedule and handling multiple tasks is a must. The candidate must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, internal departments and colleagues. You will ideally have excellent attention to detail, communication and possess a "can do" attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:
*Receiving the quotation enquiries from the sales team from our south East Asia office. You will be doing the pricing quotation based on hotel and coach price, plus our margin and then feedback to the sales team.
*Receiving the purchasing orders from sales team in China and putting all detailed information into the in-house system.
*Resolving the clients problem over the phone in Chinese and providing customer services, Dealing with clients complains if any over the phone in Chinese
*Booking Ferry tickets, attraction tickets and restaurant if needed
*Inputting and checking rates onto the in-house computer system and negotiating other conditions such as cancellation policies, rooms decrease and upgrades
*Sending our booking confirmation and rooming list, amend rooming list, breakfast type check in time and so on for each bookings with different hotel.
*Providing suitable alternatives when required and negotiating possible compensations when hotels do not provide the standard of service required
*Dealing with amendments and cancellations of hotel bookings

Experience Required:
*Minimum of 1 years' experience within a similar role for an UK inbound tour operator or wholesale travel company
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese OR English are required as you will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and industry professionals throughout the UK and globally.
*Excellent organizational skills, planning and good time management
*Must be patient, can sit down in front of the laptop all day long. Happy to negotiate the rates, talking over the phone, emailing the hotel or visiting the hotel
*Ability to work individually and as part of a team
*Proactive thinker capable to cope well with stressful situations
*Approachable manner with both colleagues, clients and suppliers
*Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
*Applicant must be self-motivated, positive, confident and results driven
*Ability to prioritise and function well under heavy workload with multiple priorities

The Package:
The salary on offer for this position is up to £20,000 DOE with Monday - Friday working hours.
