This prestigious Worldwide Tour Operator based in Staffordshire is looking for a Night Duty officer to strengthen the Operations team and provide the highest level of customer service. As a Night Duty Officer you will be liaising with customers and suppliers overseas, resolving issues promptly and calmly.

Duty Officer Responsibilities:
*First point of contact for clients and Tour Managers outside of office hours
*Amending bookings and answering queries for customers travelling within 24 hours
*Processing last minute cancellations and assisting with transport queries
*Responding to unforeseen changes as they occur on tour and providing support for Tour Managers
*Logging issues as they occur and keeping full and accurate records
*General administration duties during the night, supporting the Operations and Reservations teams, including processing Tour Manager reports and brochure requests

Additional Information

You will be required to work 48 hours per week on a rota basis of four consecutive nights of 12 hours each, with the following four nights off. Each shift period will operate from 1900 hrs to 0700 hrs, and will include Saturday and Sunday nights, and public holidays.

The annual leave entitlement is 29 days per annum, the majority of which is expected to be taken during low season; from 01 November to 01 May, and during July and August.

Salary £19,500 - £20,500 (including shift allowance) dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will have:

*Ability to work on their own and under pressure
*Computer literacy
*Ability to resolve and manage queries in a calm and professional manner
*Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads according to urgency
*Excellent customer service skills

Experience in travel or logistics is preferable but not essential. Amadeus is desirable but training will be given.
