An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute and well-connected Cargo Account Manager to join our London Hammersmith office.

Air New Zealand has a clear and compelling strategy to drive sustainable, profitable growth across the Air New Zealand cargo network.  The UK/EU region continues to be of strategic importance to the network and will continue to play a significant part in the company's future growth and profitability. The cargo team plays a pivotal part in that strategy with an emphasis on delivering high yielding revenue on our daily London Heathrow flights as well as utilising our interline partnerships to access other network gateways.

 As a member of the UK/Europe Cargo team you will play an important role in establishing and driving the success of the UK and Mainland Europe growth.  Reporting to the Regional Cargo Manager you will have the ability to network and create contacts within the Cargo industries both within the UK and Europe and to further develop Air New Zealand Cargo's relationships in these area's. You will have proven experience in driving sales to boost revenue growth and market share.  

In addition to working closely with your external clients, your ability to work with the wider global cargo team and at times head office will ensure ongoing success.

To be considered for this role you will have 3+ years in account management and be an outstanding communicator with the desire and ability to sell face-to-face at all levels within an organisation.  A motivated, self-starting, 'can do' attitude is vital.  Experience within the airline/cargo industry/logistics environment and a second language would be well regarded.
