Marketing manager - Required for this luxury travel company based in a great location in central London. They are looking for a marketing manager or a senior marketing executive ready to take the next step. Travel industry experience is a must. They will pay between £35,000 to £40,000 + up to 10% bonus and benefits including 25 days holidays.
Marketing managers duties
-Plan and manage the production of brochures, leaflets, other sales and marketing collateral, and presentations, working with the product teams to ensure information is up to date.
-Manage the design and branding of guest facing materials used in the companies properties.
-Manage the development of the companies website, making sure it is easy-to-use, engaging, and helps to build the brand; keeping the content updated using the CMS; and optimising the content for SEO.
-Plan, manage and create B2C and B2B email and social media campaigns, including copywriting, and work with the destination teams to gather content to bring the brand and product alive.
-Plan and manage public relations campaigns in key countries to strengthen the brand, build product awareness, create consideration to purchase, and generate web traffic, working with the appointed agencies.
-Support sales directors with review of co-op marketing opportunities and production of advertisements or other communications required.
-Manage TripAdvisor and social media pages, sending review requests to past guests, and ensuring posts are responded to as appropriate.
-Manage the central guest and trade databases and work with the IT, operational and reservations teams to grow the marketing database.
-Provide line management to the Marketing Coordinator, setting targets, providing support as required, assisting with any issues, and creating a happy and successful team.
-Keep wider business updated of planned marketing activities and produce regular reports to inform relevant stakeholders of completed activities and results.
-Manage the marketing expenditure, making sure costs are being tracked correctly, and spend is within budget. Allocate funds wisely and keep focus on return on investment.
-Provide marketing support to global sales team, including budget and invoice management.
Marketing managers skills required
-Marketing experience within the travel industry is a must, either at a marketing managers level or as a senior marketing executive looking to take that next step up the ladder.
-Strong all round marketing experience within the travel industry
-Experience of managing staff ideally but this is not essential
