A fantastic position has become available for a creative Social Media Executive with a flair for developing stories and content creation plans.

You will provide Social Media support on some incredible travel destination accounts. You will be a self-starter with creative ideas and some experience in copywriting, social media management, or community management. Ready to create a forward-thinking social media function that will help the agency to provide fully integrated digital campaigns. Ideal for a hard-working individual.

*Work with the teams to implement the social media strategy
*Development of content creation plans
*Creative input in to editorial and content calendar
*Incorporate a full and clear understanding of the company brand, corporate identity and tone of voice into all activities and communications
*Daily responding to online conversation/s
*Scheduling and posting content daily with online content platforms
*Proactively engaging with the online travel community, developing a relationship with influencers for client accounts
*Development, implementation and management of social app competitions
*Curate engaging content that aligns with the brand pillars
*Provide weekly activity reports
*Support the Marketing/PR & Trade Teams in integrating appropriate social media channels to the annual plan
*Undertake regular competitor analysis and report back to Marketing Team and agencies
*Keep up to date with current web trends and communicate up-and-coming social media trends
*Be the 'social media' expert and work with colleagues in other departments to help them benefit from social media developments where appropriate
*Working on events - both media and trade
*Compiling social media trends and analysis for client reports
*Assisting with media and brand affinity partnerships
*Crisis communications with the wider team
*Supporting the wider team

*Prior experience in a social media role
*Excellent communication skills
*Sound writing abilities
*Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants
*Experience of creating, delivering and managing content across social platforms
*Experience in growing social media following and engagement across multiple channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
*An understanding of social analytics, listening and reporting tools/platforms
*Competency with use of all social platforms
