Revenue & Yield Manager – Travel – London – £37,000 plus benefits

Revenue & Yield Manager is required by one of the UK most sophisticated travel operators to assist in the running of its £90 million travel product portfolio. The Revenue & Yield Manager will be supporting senior Commercial directors in managing the travel product and will play a vital role in maximising revenue & sales. The Revenue & Yield Manager needs to be proactive and able to work under pressure whilst ensuring the smooth running of the commercial department.

As Revenue & Yield Manager you will:

  • Produce and analyse turnover and margin for all travel products
  • Run waitlists for sales to contact and fill empty cabins/ rooms
  • Review the travel operator’s historical performance as well as create and sign off on costing sheets
  • Liaise with land and operations departments to ensure accurate costing sheets
  • Proactively liaise with the flights department
  • Produce month end sales and turnover reports
  • Update the intranet with new promotions and remove expired offers
  • Manage and sign off invoices with the accounts department for suppliers and charterers
  • Ensure marketing material offers, pricing and terms and conditions are accurate
  • Assist with contract negotiations when increasing margins and chartering in product

The Revenue & Yield Manager will be:

  • Experienced in a commercial role (3 – 5 years)
  • Analytical and able to interpret and present data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised and able to work under pressure
  • Able to work independently towards set goals
  • Flexible and willing to learn
