An exciting role has come available for an IT Support Manager in London. As a successful IT Support Manager you will lead a team and actively work on end user requests. You will also be working to establish, develop and supervise your department to ensure that the business is supported, you will do this by ensuring system availability within the company within defined service levels. You will provide direct support to new and existing clients whilst coordinating technology projects as required. You will also be involved with setting up and managing any client changes. It is essential that you can take direction well and provide direction to the team to enable flawless execution of the business needs. You must work effectively in a global coverage environment; managing hand offs between other support supervisors whilst maintaining accountability among technicians and communicating effectively. The right applicant must have supervised a minimum of two direct reports providing first and second line support and must have managed daily operations and projects whilst ensuring service levels are met to the customers satisfaction. You will also act as an escalation point between support personnel and adjacent IT teams; taking ownership of escalated issues from inception to resolution.

Job Requirements:
*Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting end user technical service support in a business environment
*Minimum of 2 years experience managing no less than two direct reports as you will be involved with supervising personnel and customer service levels, handling staff selection, training, compensation, performance and career planning. You will also be involved with managing staff timetables to ensure there is support 7 days a week for both the UK and California.
*Bachelor degree or equivalent business/industry training and on the job experience
*In Depth experience with IT system implementation and troubleshooting support for core Microsoft technologies and a variety of business specific applications
*Manage multiple administration systems including VPN, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, SCCM, desktop antivirus, backups and documentation SOP's
*Providing support to a variety of software packages including Mac OS, Windows 7, 10 and 10, Microsoft Office 2013 & 2016, Adobe CS, Apollo, World span, Sabre and Amadeus GDS as well as providing notebook computer, desktop computer, and printer hardware support
*Manage the imaging workstation and laptop computers using SCCM via PXE booting
*Travel ad hoc to enable implementation and support of company locations in the UK as well as USA
*Effective written and verbal communications skills

As IT Support Manager you will initiate the proper problem workflow both independently and within a team environment ensuring end user technical problems are diagnosed and resolved whilst providing status information for resolution to the end user. You will also monitor status and escalate where necessary. It is essential that you develop, control and manage department operational processes and standards to improve efficiencies.
