A fantastic global Travel Management company is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join their small but elite team. They are looking for someone with strong technical know-how with a keen eye for detail and strong interpersonal skills.
In this role you will provide both 2nd and 3rd line support to the UK and EU users and infrastructure. You will be based in the London office but may be required to travel to other EU sites on occasion.

Key to this role is implementing and optimising key functional areas with a particular focus on network and server infrastructure and data communications.

Skills required:

*3 years' experience in a similar role
*Strong technical knowledge of PC Hardware, Printers, Mobile devices etc.
*Microsoft Windows 10 administration, configuration and support.
*Microsoft Office 2013/2016 experience.
*Active Directory administration/maintenance experience
*Exchange administration experience
*Understanding of TCI/IP networks, WINS, DNS and DHCP
*Understanding of Antivirus management

Skills that will benefit your application:

*Windows Server Administration
*Cisco qualified, or Cisco knowledge
*MCP / ComTIA or similar.
*Knowledge of Standards such as ISO27001, ITIL, PCI-DSS and GDPR
*Security Patch management
*Ability to produce technical documentation to a good standard if required
*Knowledge of remote support tools, e.g. RDP, LogMeIn etc
*Understanding of backup and disaster recovery
