Reporting to the General Manager - Overseas, the Destination Support Manager will work as part of the Jet2holidays Overseas Management Team (UK Based) and be responsible for the overseas operational support, performance and service delivery of Jet2holidays overseas program. This role has extensive long periods of travel.

You will have a significant input into operational performance, planning and adhering to various operational budgets and our resourcing strategy, ensuring we have the flexibility and agility to respond to internal and external impacts and influences which may occur in the destination you may be covering. You will also manage the relationship with our third party agents in line with our agreed industry leading service levels and ensure that Company policies, procedures and values are followed at all times.

A key part of your role will be to drive and inspire in Resort Teams to deliver our Customer Service Promise within the constraints of operational budgets while you are covering a particular destination. Through regular visits to hotels and airports within your remit you will undertake service delivery reviews and provide on-going coaching and development of the Team. In addition, you will ensure that Company branding guidelines are adhered to and updates are distributed as and when required.

To be successful in this role you will have proven managerial experience gained from working within people and operational management, preferably within the Travel Industry. You will have experience in tactical planning to ensure company targets are achieved across the destination. With excellent team leadership and motivational skills, you'll be confident in leading teams remotely and dealing with difficult situations and taking them to a positive conclusion.
