Have you worked within the travel industry for 12 months or more and worked within an IT department. My client are a leading Tour Operator working with well-known airlines and hotel Suppliers along with corporate clients and cruise lines to. Experience within this industry is beneficial.

Prior Experience with Travel related Systems (Amadeus, Dolphin, Galileo, Paxport, Worldspan)

Experience maintaining IT Hardware

Main Duties:
Monitoring all websites and booking systems throughout the day to ensure they are functioning correctly and all supplier feeds are working.
Reporting any issues to 3rd party suppliers i.e. Multicom/Paxport, Dolphin, Vibe, Traveltek, GDS systems and ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner
Liaise with Operations Director and help to oversee installation of new software and hardware across the business
Liaise with Operations Director to ensure that systems meet user requirements and help to introduce enhancements to existing
Purchase hardware and software to meet the needs of the business
Use Crystal Reporting to run a range of reports to meet the requirements of the business
Maintaining and loading hotel allocation system and checking content is live and accurate
Ensure that Errata's are updated and shown on all it systems.
Ensure that IT ticketing system is utilised to record IT issues and requests for support and ensure that responses and resolutions are given within agreed timescales.
Manage team members including conducting of performance reviews, weekly meetings, scheduling and prioritising of work.
Reporting & monitoring pc & network issues to IT provider
Ensure backup systems operate effectively to include server and call recorder
Ensuring the downloaders for Dolphin/Vibe are working
Assisting with set up of IT equipment for new employees to include home workers, to include passwords, phones, software
Offering users appropriate support and advice
Keeping up to date with the latest technologies
Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems
Management of mapping within IT systems
Ensure that IT systems meet with legislation in terms of PPI, GDPR and any other relevant legislation relating to the business

The package:
Salary will depend on the role you apply for and have experience for the IT Manager role will pay up to £30,000
