Cruise Sales Team Leader **Start date January 2019**
Due to Company expansion, Cruise Nation are looking to hire a professional highly motivated Team Leader who has exceptional attention to detail and leadership experience and qualities to help manage a satellite office. This role is based in our new Newcastle office.
Cruise Nation is looking for a dynamic individual with either Call Centre Sales or Travel experience, an excellent leadership qualities and ability to successfully manage a team is essential.

With the role of Cruise Sales Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for taking control of ensuring the team hit their achievable and realistic target, ensuring you are effective and timely responding to both email and telephone enquiries and converting them into sales using the highest standards of customer service. As well a managing a team you will be expected to generate sales.
- - Achieving personal and team targets and KPI’s
- - Managing the sales team
- - Answering inbound telephone calls
- - Responding to email enquiries and live chat
- - Creating call backs to potential customers
- - Using our in-house travel system to provide customers with quotes for packages including cruise, flights and hotel stays
- - Utilising every opportunity to up sell to enhance the customer holiday experience
- - Delivering excellent customer service with customers and building rapport
- - Delivering training
We are seeking an individual who is driven, self-motivated and can motivate a sales team to ensure team surpasses targets. Experience in the travel sector and especially in cruises is desirable but not necessary. A great phone manner and excellent communication is needed with the ability to capture customers in making a direct booking. What’s important to us is that you have a passion and interest in the travel industry and a willingness to learn and develop with us as the company grows. Experience in managing a team
Salary will be dependent on your experience, and a bonus system is in place. Shifts are rota based and the office operates between 09:00 to 21:00, 7 days a week. Please note, you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
