Title Sales Executive – South
Reports to National Sales Manager
To develop profitable new and existing independent travel agency business in order to maximise market share and overall profitability of Travel Products products.
To close deals with a specified number of new customers.
To achieve a net profitability target within an assigned sales area.
Timely reporting as required.
Support and co-operate with all areas of the business as required.
Participate in industry meetings, seminars, events, and exhibitions as required.
Attend and actively participate in regional meetings and training as required.
Identification, qualification, of new travel agency business within a territory to be assigned.
Development and execution of detailed sales strategy plans for new-targeted accounts in liaison with management team as appropriate.
Ownership of assigned customer accounts during all phases of the sales cycle.
Provide feedback concerning market and industry trends on an on-going basis.
Dedicated Office Day
To assist sales team by co-ordinating reports and collating sales statistics for meetings and general information.
assist in the arrangement of promotional events and conferences.
To attend when necessary appropriate promotional events or activities.
To assist sales team with the communication of tactical offers, discounts and incentives.
To remain aware of current commercial agreements and partnerships and react accordingly.
To take part in mystery shopper exercise’s.
To assist in testing for brochure launches and system development releases.
To carry out price comparisons on a regular basis.
To communicated weekly & monthly stats to key accounts and the sales team.
Where necessary to complete contracts as instructed on behalf of the sales team and keep a log of these and copies on applicable files.
Ensure that weekly & monthly stats are communicated to the relevant key accounts and the sales team.
To keep copies of all communication in the relevant files.

Excellent presentation and writing skills
Able to deal effectively with all levels of management
Self starter with little/no direct supervision required
Proficient at building customer relationships

Personal Situation: Able to spend one or two nights away per month without upsetting domestic situation. Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Must have clean or near clean driving licence.
