Our holiday business is worth £15million annually to the organisation, and it’s growing. We’re great at ensuring our customers have a great time, and we know how to provide a variety of choices, but there’s always more we can do, and our pricing programme isn’t as dynamic as we’d like.

We’re introducing a new role to our Holidays team, to provide us with a better way to commercially respond to the market in our fast growing and developing holiday business.

What it's like to work here

We’re bigger than you think, we’re more complicated than we appear and we’re larger scale than you’d imagine. We’ve got passionate people in all our teams, and we’ve got so much more we want to achieve. We’re for ever, for everyone and we really mean that. We don’t want to stop at 5.5 million members and we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy access to our places, so we need to reach new audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them without losing the hearts and minds of those that are already with us.

What you'll be doing

We’ve got ambitious plans for our team, our aim is to grow our profitability to £13million by 2025, and we need the skills of an experienced Revenue Manager to achieve this. You’ll enable this through delivering a more agile approach to our pricing programme.

You’ll provide us with strong experience of yield management, and be able to help us establish a more fluid approach to pricing, and a greater awareness of the rest of the market, so that you can monitor competitor performance. You’ll provide forecasts of what’s happening in the market, identifying improvements and implement strategies to drive revenue.

You’ll provide detailed analysis of our performance and have a strong understanding of how to improve our yield. You’ll deliver this across our four business segments; cottages, bunkhouses, working holidays and our outdoors offer.

If you have experience of yield management, and would love to work for us, and help us achieve even more, we’d love to hear from you.

Who we're looking for

This is a new role for us, so we’re looking for someone with a track record in this field, or in a similar role within the travel industry. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate where you have:

•Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

•Strong experience in forecasting trends and up-to-date knowledge of the market

•Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

•The ability to translate technical analysis into useful data for the wider business

•Proven relationship building skills and strong service focussed delivery

•Prior experience in pricing or revenue management
