An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Travel Sales Consultant to join this Specialist Tour Operator in West Sussex.

Specialist Travel Sales Consultant responsibilities

The role will involve putting together tailor-made itineraries from scratch, researching the customers exact needs and seeing the booking through to ticketing stage. The role is very varied besides sales you will be involved in brochure work as well as putting together special offers. Ideal for someone looking for a role that is not just sales but involves all aspects of a small tour operator. Product knowledge, enthusiasm are paramount for this role. Must be a team player but able to work on their own initiative. Ideally worked for a Tour Operator selling bespoke itineraries but most importantly have extensive knowledge of Africa, Greece, Italy & Turkey

Mon - Fri 9am to 5.30pm and 1 in 3 weekends 10am to 2pm
£20-£24k plus target related bonus dependent on personal/company performance.

Must drive as not near a train station/bus. Car parking at their offices in Haywards Heath (near Bolney)

Specialist Travel Sales Consultant Skills -

• It is essential that you have exceptional product knowledge of Africa, Greece, Italy & Turkey
• You will be a driven sales person able to demonstrate your previous sales achievements
• Customer focused with a passion for helping clients
• Previous sales experience gained in a Tour Operator environment
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• Self motivated, highly ambitious, goal orientated and able to work as part of a team.
