Job Details
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Perform regular comparisons of airline contracts & schedules from all UK airports to embarkation cities.
*Prepare & load forecasted pricing for travel components such as flights, hotels and transfers that can be used for bookings made outside of range.
*Monitor and update outside of range pricing and inventory based on demand and market changes.
*Convert out of range bookings when inventory becomes available.
*Ensure sufficient inventory is in place to meet the market needs, this may include requesting allocations and groups.
*Manage and maintain contracted inventory for your ports or sailings, this primarily includes air allocations but may also include other travel components such as hotel blocks.
*Work with the business to help ensure that full utilisation is achieved and minimise financial impact of committed inventory, this includes regular performance reviews to ensure that contracted inventory is selling at sufficient rates and take necessary actions to improve sales.
*Support booking systems to ensure that travel components are displaying as expected, this includes managing business rules within the system and troubleshooting errors.
*Monitor travel components performance & its suitability for the brand, this can include identifying trends in customer feedback & taking necessary action to improve future sales and satisfaction.
*Work with all internal teams to ensure that our reservation team and travel partners are aware of the packaging opportunities and continually attempt to drive growth on travel components booked.
*Work with marketing teams to ensure successful promotion of travel components.
*Handle enquires from internal teams and suppliers related to travel components.
*Regularly review the ticket costs issued vs the revenue paid by the guest to identify system defects, training issues and provide recommendations to minimise potential differences in the future
*Represent the department as a subject matter experts within projects.
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
*Recent GDS experience with good knowledge of airline schedules
*In depth knowledge of GUI/AS400 & Travelbox an advantage
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint
*Hyperion Brio & Power BI is an advantage
*Ability to take ownership & make decisions
*Proactive & motivated with a desire to use initiative
*Flexible, approachable with a passion for the business
*Strong administration, organisational and prioritising skills.
*It is essential to have the ability to work well as part of a cross functional team and communicate with all levels within the business
*Strong commercial acumen

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a very competitive salary in the region of £30000 - £32000 plus you will also be entitled to a great company benefit scheme!
