China Visa Consultant

A full time position for a Visa Consultant is required to work for an established Travel Management Company in Central London.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and well established specialist travel company.
If you have a good understanding of passport and visa processing (Especially Chinese visas) then this could be the role for you.

THE JOB:


Working within a team of visa consultants and reporting to the Visa Team Manager, this role involves supporting the Visa Team with the day to day running of the department and ensuring clients receive the best possible standards of service and to provide a flexible support network for the visa department. Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines are critical to this department, as is an ability to share knowledge with colleagues to enhance the team's collective skill set. The consultant will work as part of a team towards monthly targets, and be skilled in handling all stages of the application process.

Your duties will include:
* Meet and greet clients
* The end to end visa process
* Dispatch visas to client
* Invoice clients and arrange payment
* Ensure that calls and emails are dealt with in a timely manner
* Any other ad-hoc job that may be reasonably requested
* Effective relationship building with business partners
* Send collection email to clients and complete the filing
* Send visa packs and check individual visa requirements
* Respond to internal / external calls / emails
* Working towards achieving monthly targets
* Develop and build rapport with suppliers



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* No less than 3 years' experience in visa processing
* Extensive experience with processing Chinese visas
* First hand experience in dealing with embassies
* Good geographical knowledge
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Strong problem solving ability
* Exceptional approach to customer service with a genuine desire to deliver first class service
* Self - motivated and capable or organising own workload
* Systematic, thorough and conscientious
* Positive and resilient personality with "can do" attitude
* Strong work ethic with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm
* Foreign language skills and an understanding of Amadeus GDS system (not necessary)
* Committed to achieving goals and targets

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION:
Full Time role:
(MON - FRI 8-6, along with 1 out of 6 Saturdays from 9-1)

THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £24,000 per annum plus company benefits and bonuses
