My client is a leading high-end tour operator based in East/Central London who specialise in luxury tailormade trips.

The are in the process of developing their Australasia product and are seeking a bright and motivated individual to develop and sell the Australasia product eventually building a team.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous luxury travel sales and product experience of the Australasia region.

Head of Travel and Product Key Responsibilities

• Developing the Australasia department by selecting product, researching areas, sourcing and building relationships with suppliers.
• Creating and selling luxury tailor made holidays to clients. This involves consultation by email and phone with the client and may also include some administrative support of sales.
• Managing the team in a nurturing and cooperative manner
• Reviewing and updating product continually to ensure the best service and choice for our clients
• Arranging and delivering training sessions on product both from suppliers and within department
• Developing strong relationships with all on the ground to ensure our clients are treated well and we get additional perks through this connection
• Contributing with new marketing initiatives to promote more interest in Australasia

Head of Travel and Product Experience

• Proven record of selling luxury travel
• Strong, in-depth knowledge of destinations around Australia, New Zealand.
• Experience of working with DMC'S, the confidence to select the right one, understand what's best for the company when choosing a partner and a hotel, ask the right questions and even part ways when needed.

Head of Travel and Product Salary and Benefits

• Base salary to £34,000 + Bonuses
• Monday to Friday
