I am looking for an SEM expert who is keen to take on a new challenge within a very successful and growing tour operator who are based in the North Surrey area. Your role here will be to manage all pay-per-click (PPC) marketing activities, and work alongside the existing offline marketing manager to improve SEO rankings for a successful and growing tour operator who are based in the North Surrey area. The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist will manage all paid search campaigns on Google, Facebook and Bing, as well as other search and display marketing engines. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the SEO and Marketing team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers to the site and call centre
This role requires a candidate who is analytical, well organized and who has a great attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be well informed regarding digital landscaping (display, social, native and programmatic) trends and research

* Planning campaign activity for top of funnel activities, content marketing and innovative digital product activations across established and emerging platforms.
* Defining innovative new paid social media strategies to support the core business goals and the content marketing, social media and digital activations team.
* Continual paid social testing and experimentation ideation working with performance team and scaling, likewise identifying when to scale back on paid social activities.
* Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
* Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
* Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
* Optimise copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
* Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
* Research and analyse competitor advertising links
* Real-time, daily and weekly campaign performance reporting. Presentation of key data and conclusions to management.

* Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
* Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
* Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
* In-depth experience with bid management tools
* Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
* Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
* Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
* Understand online strategy and how this breaks down into multi-channel web marketing elements
* BS/MS degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field
* Experienced in travel marketing, especially PPC in the long haul luxury market
* 'Out of the box' thinking and removing constraints

* Passionate for and in tune with the latest social media trends

At least 4 years' PPC and SEO management within the leisure/travel Sector
The successful candidate can expect a very competitive starting salary in the region of £45000 - £55000 which is dependent on experience, this role will not be vacant for long due to the exciting product and the amazing salary on offer!
