We’re looking for Sabre experts for a brand new Online Support Specialist role within a fast-growing Travel Management Company, based in our client’s central London offices. The role involves offering first line support relating to issues or queries with our client’s online proposition and assisting with new client implementations and would suit someone in an existing support or training role, or perhaps a Sabre-proficient Business Travel Consultant looking to move away from a reservations role. As well as extensive knowledge of Sabre, the successful candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), online travel booking tools and, ideally, Concur. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for the role, as well as the ability to problem solve, to work to deadlines and to work flexibly, as part of a small team. Previous experience working on a help or support desk, or a training team would be advantageous but isn’t essential. Role of Online Support Specialist:

  • Providing First Line Support
  • Diagnosing and solving (or escalating if necessary) online issues
  • Assisting with new client implementations
  • Handling all enquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Delivering high levels of customer service
  • Giving demonstrations and offering expert advice
  • Identifying and reporting online issues and possible methods of improvement  

Skills required for the role:

  • Full proficiency with Sabre
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, online booking tools and, ideally, Concur
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Team player with a flexible approach
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
