Ground Transport Commercial Lead

The Ground Transport Commercial Lead role in a nutshell
As part of our growth strategy, we are investing in our New Products Team and are looking for an experienced Ground Transport Commercial Lead to join us on the Holiday Extras campus. As Ground Transport Commercial Lead at Holiday Extras you’ll be responsible for defining and delivering our ground transportation strategy and work collaboratively with the wider business to drive volume and product development.
As someone with a background in ground transportation, you will be responsible for the car hire & transfers/ground transportation budget (i.e. rail, coach, taxi) ensuring that these products perform well and become part of the wider Holiday Extras core offering.
You will use your expert partnering and account management skills to maintain and grow strong, solid relationships with existing partners and suppliers. As someone with a commercial mindset, you will also source and negotiate new supplier deals, and build win/win strategic partnerships at a senior level possessing a deep understanding of our partners trading cycles and technical requirements.

- Experience working within a commercial environment, contracting new supply whilst maintaining and growing a portfolio of existing partners.
- Demonstrable experience in successfully developing and maintaining a successful Ground Transportation strategy.
- Demonstrable experience of building strong, profitable partnerships that cater for the needs of your customers.
- Strong communication skills, able to flex and adapt your approach when needed.
- A commercial mindset and deep understanding of the effective use of data insight and analysis to drive strategic decision making
