Duties and Responsibilities

.    To negotiate ad-hoc group rates, terms and conditions
.    To confirm group space at suitable properties within budget
.    To ensure the hotels sourced are of the standard and quality required
.    To build, develop and maintain strong business relationship with suppliers
.    To source alternative solutions when the requested locations/hotels are unavailable.
.    To communicate clearly with the sales team making sure information is received & understood
.    To enter information regarding hotels confirmed in computer systems
.    To keep up to date with market changes and new developments (ie. new hotels, etc.)
.    To manage and resolve possible complaints by liaising with suppliers and Operations/Sales
.    To deliver within deadlines
.    To follow departmental or team guidelines and procedures
.    To maintain an environment which supports the spirit of teamwork
.    To prioritize workload according to deadline

Experience and Skills

.    Good organizational skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
.    Outstanding negotiation skills
.    Good knowledge of independent and chain hotels around Europe
.    Ability to work individually and as part of a team
.    Proactive individual capable of working under pressure
.    European languages will be an advantage
.    Word, Outlook, Excel
.    Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
.    Must be self-motivated, positive, confident and committed to deliver best possible result
