Mandarin Travel Consultant - Dublin

Happy Chinese New year! It's the year of the pig and it's the perfect time to kick start the year by getting on an exciting new career path. If you have a strong knowledge and passion for all things China and South east Asia as well as travel industry experience and crucially, fluency in Mandarin and English, then you could be on the verge of something very exciting! My client is an industry leader and they are looking for a strong team member to join their thriving team as a Travel Consultant in their Dublin branch. With progression opportunity, commission and a promise of a fast-paced and rewarding career, this could be the move you are looking for. My client boasts a generous base salary of 22-27,000 Euros, fantastic hours and a great location!

Key Responsibilities
*Booking Flights, Hotels, Car Hire, Rail and other services as required
*Conversing with clients by phone and email and walk-ins in Mandarin
*Work as part of a team with strong communication with management with targets, development and sales forecast
*Discuss and advise prospective clients about destinations, travel plans and convert queries into bookings.

Experience required:
*Fluent English and Chinese (mandarin) essential
*Experience in GDS, preferably Galileo
*Minimum of 1 year experience working in travel
*Passion for Travel, personal travel experiences advantageous
*A knack for understanding customer's needs
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment
*This is full time permanent position, stamp 2 visa's will not be considered at this time.

You'll be getting an excellent base salary of 22-27k Euros (DOE) plus bonuses and commission!! Along with joining a brilliant team and the chance for progression.
