Job Details
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
*Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
*Talking staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face, over the telephone or via remote support tools, to help set up systems or resolve issues
*Troubleshooting IT problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
*Monitoring shared/group mailboxes and acting on messages that are sent to them
*Ensuring all calls are logged into our call logging system and are managed through to completion
SKILLS REQUIRED:
*Previous experience working in the I.T. sector of another company, although full training will be given.
*A professional IT Certification would be beneficial
*The ability to work in a team environment aswell as your own initiative
*Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively providing I.T. support to colleagues at all levels.
*The ability to work under pressure and manage your own priorities; which is a key requirement of the role.
WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday from 08.30 to 17.00hrs.
THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate can expect a starting of £20k - £23k
