Digital Marketing & Website Manager.    Winner of numerous prestigious travel accolades and long established, this tour operator is looking for a Digital Marketing & Website Manager to join their dynamic and friendly Marketing team based in Central London. The Digital Marketing & Website Manager is one of the key positions within their marketing department. This role will own our client’s website and all other digital platforms. You will play a key role in managing and driving online performance whilst constantly making improvements to conversion metrics.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Website
    • Own the commercial website with full responsibility for P&L
    • Manage and implement a programme of effective website developments to maximise lead generation and sales growth
    • Work with external development agency to manage and fix all website bugs
    • Ensure growth in customer acquisition and retention
  • UX & Website testing
    • Manage, report and improve on online conversion
    • Analyse and implement solutions to exit points, bounce rates and other under-performing parts of the users online journey
    • Manage on-going programme of A/B testing and improvements to enhance user experience and customer journey
    • Work closely with the Reservations System Manager to develop both the website and reservation system usability
  • Search engine optimisation
    • Work closely with the external SEO agency to ensure that our client delivers a content and link building strategy that drives performance
    • Improve the visits, exposure and effectiveness of our client’ blog
  • PPC
    • Manage and drive performance of PPC (search/retargeting/display/programmatic) alongside external agency
  • Paid social
    • Run paid social campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, driving conversion and engagement metrics
  • Recruitment website
    • Manage content updates for the recruitment website
    • Drive increases to online applications through PPC and other digital channels
  • Reporting
    • Provide weekly and monthly reporting of the performance of website and digital channels
  • Team Management
    • Effectively monitor, manage and control the performance of all staff reporting to you to maximise output, efficiency and motivation. This includes planning and communicating clear, written objectives, tasks, guidelines and procedures

Abilities & Skills:

  • 5+ years website and digital marketing experience
  • Proven track record of delivering a programme of online conversion improvements
  • Experience using website CMS systems
  • Experience in running digital advertising in Google AdWords and Facebook
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics
  • SEO knowledge
  • HTML skills desirable but not essential

  • A team player with excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Strong organisational skills to deliver multiple projects to deadline and budget
