My client is one of the fastest growing Education Travel Companies in the UK and due to growth of this fantastic company I am looking for a Software Developer to join their established IT Team. The role is to primarily focus on the design, develop and implementation of new software to support the company's Business Systems. You must have Commercial Experience, and experience of using C#, ASP.Net and MVC.

Job Description:

*To develop, implement and support business system solutions in response to business requirements, within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
*Discuss requirements and participate in the design of technical solutions for business problems
*Assist in providing accurate estimating of pieces of work within the team based on specifications
*Consistently meet project deadlines
*Minimise the amount of work handed back by the testing team
*Liaise with the business analysis team to ensure requirements are met
*To report to the IT Development Team Manager and/ or team members concerning day-to-day progress and issues
*To work in accordance with current IT standards and procedures.
*Develop code to quality standards
*Pair program with other team members
*Participate in daily stand up meetings
*Continually improve skills
*Identify areas for development to internal systems and processes to improve team and operational efficiencies.

Key Skills & Experience:

*Experience of ASP.NET (2.0/ 3.5/ 4.0/ 4.5), specifically C#
*Experience of databases, specifically SQL Server 2008/2012/2016
*Experience of HTML, CSS, Web Services
*Experience of JavaScript and JQuery
*Experience of MVC
*Experience of working within agile software development environments
*Knowledge of Bootstrap
*Knowledge of SASS
*Knowledge of LINQ to SQL / Entity framework

This company offers an excellent basic salary of £25k - £40k pa dependent on experience (the client would look at a more junior candidate or graduate with the key skills required, or a more experience candidate at the higher end of the salary bracket) with additional company benefits.
