The company has an exciting opportunity for a Ticketing Agent.
They are seeking an Amadeus or Worldspan ticketing agent for this leisure and business agency.
Ticketing Agent Key Responsibilities:
Manage and issue the airline reservation tickets of both the assigned Leisure & Business accounts within deadlines
Managing online bookings made through the website & maximise conversion.
Issue all variable fares, refunds and re-validations for tickets purchased as necessary
Arrange & issue EMD's for excessive baggage, seat reservations and similar situations
Processing automated ticket refunds (e.g. cancellations) through BSP or GDS.
Help resolve problems related to ticketing, wait lists, seat selection, special requirements, cancellations and upgrade quotes where necessary
Monitor queues and work alongside schedule changes.
Investigating and responding to ADM's - Ensuring the follow up of any ADM's is carried out as required.
Support accounts in dealing with invoicing queries and discrepancies & liaise with airlines where necessary.
Managing and distributing special fares to the relevant internal departments
Out of call service in case of emergencies
Ticketing Agent Experience:
Proficiency in a GDS - Worldspan & Amadeus
Must have a minimum 12 months experience in Airlines Fares & Ticketing .
Understanding the main aspects of IATA ticketing rules
Excellent Communication Skills
Professional telephone manner
Strong PC skills
Salary is up to £28,000.
