Country Manager - UK Escorted Tours - London. A fantastic opportunity to work for a global escorted tour operator, where you will be responsible for overseeing their operations, suppliers and product across the UK.
Country Manager Responsibilities
You will be responsible managing a small team of direct reports in the Lyon office as well as field based Trip Leaders / Tour Guides to ensure quality goals are being met. You will support the program manager with the recruitment, training and development of trip leaders, whilst providing them with emergency and operational support whilst leading groups to resolve any operational or customer issues. You will also work with regional teams and head office on the development of new programs, improving existing ones and managing relationships with vendors.
Country Manager Skills Required
- 5 Years plus of travel industry and staff management experience
- Experience managing and negotiating with vendors / suppliers
- Fluent written and spoken English and French
- Ability to drive product quality, operational improvements and cost management
- Flexible to travel around the country up to 50% of the time
Country Manager Package
Salary on offer is between £41,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
