Fantastic opportunity to join this small and unique travel company. This fantastic small business prides itself on it friendly, fun office full of dedicated and passionate staff. Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to join their lively and busy environment.

As an Operations Manager you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all ground handlers are adhering to contractual agreements
  • Maintaining and improving the quality of each challenge including training and on-going appraisal of both UK and local leaders
  • Assisting with the recruitment and training of both UK local leaders as required
  • Liaising with the flights department regarding airlines and fares to ensure the correct flights are booked for all challenges and that the agreed fares are in budget.
  • Liaising with clients, helping them to prepare for their challenge sending out all relevant information and paper work
  • Ensure all client and medical contracts have been signed off
  • Cross checking invoices and ensuring payment is received swiftly
  • Product development
  • Deal with everyday operational problems

Operations Manager Skill attributes:

You will be a team player with RELEVANT group tour operation experience and ideally have adventure travel experience personally/through work.

  • With strong interpersonal, sales, marketing and communication skills
  • Confidence to deal with people at all levels
  • You will have a sound knowledge of the travel industry, preferably adventure travel
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Proactive, excellent time management and acute attention to detail
