THE JOB

In this role, you will be a GDS expert and provide support for the day to day usability of key systems, business processes and enhancements whilst also using native GDS to test system issues and changes. You will be required to escalate these issues to the development teams and departments and take part in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on systems releases whilst documenting issues and producing user guides. It is key that you use tracking software to follow each issue through to its resolution. You will communicate system fixes internally and externally as required and carry out testing plans created in conjunction with the Systems Development Manager.

You will also work closely with the accounts team on daily invoicing procedures. Assist Operations team with systems and GDS advice and training and report on and follow up on GDS issues. You will also assist the Sales team in maintaining the CRM with data uploads and CRM modification and assist with reporting queries.


WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

*Airfare and GDS knowledge, specifically net airline fares and rules and booking and pricing
*It is essential that you have a good understanding of flight sales and of travel reservation systems
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
*High levels of accuracy


THE COMPANY

You will be working with a key service provider for airlines, the business is built on bespoke automation tools and systems developed inhouse and you will be the main contact for clients when dealing with GDS usability issues.
