THE JOB

Within this role as NDC Systems Support Executive in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, you will be an expert in NDC and all related systems and work with the trade support helpdesk to provide support for existing customers whilst onboarding new customers. You will assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new NDC functionality and upgrades as well as investigate and report on NDC outages. You will also investigate technical, fare and customer queries.

You will use native Amadeus GDS to aid fare investigation and liaise with system development teams whilst documenting processes. This will involve producing user guides and investigating queries to provide a solution. You will use tracking software to follow issues through to their resolution and communicate fixes to the customer whilst also encouraging online/self-help systems usage.


WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

*You will need to have an understanding of flight sales, fares and technical investigative work
*Knowledge of net airline fares and rules which includes knowledge of booking and pricing via GDS
*Knowledge of NDC and other APIs within the travel industry
*Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
