Flights Reservations Specialist Agent – £23000 - South Birmingham

My client, a highly successful tour operator, is seeking a Flights Reservations Specialist Agent for a challenging & varied role providing support for the Sales Team, working closely with the Marketing Department and making arrangements for large group tours across world-wide destinations.

They require a passionate, customer focused, organised person to be a part of their developing Tour Operations team.

Flights Reservations Specialist Agent Duties include:

• Working with the Marketing & Package Creation Team to help plan International & regional flights on the company’s high end group tours.
• Coordinating & booking International flights on behalf of Consultants.
• Dealing with ground suppliers to arrange pick-ups on arrival.
• Booking domestic/regional group flights & liaising with wholesalers
• Controlling group bookings when Consultants add passengers to tours.
• Develop relations with regional airlines & hotels in order to book groups direct
• Involvement with other Tour Op dept tasks as required e.g. finalising tour departure information, assessing hotels and itineraries, managing flight & hotel allocations, etc.

Flights Reservations Specialist Agent remuneration:

• Salary - up to £22000
• Hours – Mon-Fri with flexibility for evening & weekend hours if required
• Office based - some occasional home-working may be possible in the future
